My workout hair essentials to maintain my natural hair press during my workouts:
-Hair scrunchie & clip- this keeps the ends of my hair pulled away while preventing my hair from getting a dent in it. I only wrap the scrunchie around twice. I use the clip to pin the loose ends so I don’t bend them.
- Ice water - helps my body to stay cooler during my workouts. Which helps to reduce the amount of sweat that comes out of my scalp.
- Fan - helps to keep my head and face cool. It reduces the amount of sweat that sits on my scalp and could make my roots swell.
- At night I wrap my natural hair press and use a scarf to tie it down. Sometimes I add a Sleepers By Shan hair bonnet on top because scarfs tend to slide off.
Doing this allows me to simply remove my wrapped hair from my scarf in the morning by brushing it down and going on about my day!
No repressing needed!
