What is M.O.B Training?

Master of Braidless or M.O.B. Training offers a 3 Course Series to help trainees master the art of no-braid sew-in weaving. Each course covers a different level of the no-braid weaving that equips the trainee with the necessary tools, knowledge, and skill set to help them master each level.



What do the three courses consist of?

Our hands on training classes offer three different levels: beginner, intermediate, and advance. Beginner Course - The Beginners Course is perfect for the rookie learner. It is a 4 hour hands-on training that focus on setting the basic foundation for becoming a master of no-braid weaving. This course covers proper technique, benefits, pricing and more. Intermediate Course - The Intermediate Course is a 4 hour hands-on course that is perfect for the learner that has some knowledge and skills when it comes to no-braid/braidless sew-in weaving. This course expound upon the basic technique(s) learned in the beginners course. This course covers multiple tracking methods, retightening/maintenance, and more. Advance Course - The Advance Course is best for learners who have successfully completed our Beginner or Intermediate Course. This course is a 4 hour training that is more fast-paced and will cover track placement, sectioning, the use of multiple tracking methods and more to achieve our most versatile and sought after no-braid weaving install. This course will also introduce you to no-braid weaving and hair loss.

How do I join the Online Academy?

To join our online academy click log in at the top right corner of our site. From there it will ask you to log in. Click on the sign up butotn and follow the prompts.

What are Sleepers By Shan?

Sleepers by Shan are your new fashionable head sleepwear that keeps while you sleep. We carry designs that are reversible.



What type of material is it?

Our material is 100% Polyester material with satin weave.



How do I care for my Sleeper?

You can machine wash with like colors on the gentle cycle. Air dry.



What size sleeper do I need?

We offer a variety of sizes for our sleepers ranging from small to extra large. To determine the size sleeper you need, measure your head with a measuring tape from the nape hairline area to the forehead hairline area. Small head circumference measures 19" - 20" Medium head circumference measures 21" - 22" Large head circumference measures 23" - 24" See photo for example.



What does the cap size mean?

The cap size describes how roomy the space in the cap is. A medium cap size is a closer fit and is good for people who ex: wrap their hair at night, wear flat braid patterns, or ponytail. A large cap size is more for people with ex: big hair, that may also be long, people that wear rollers. The extra large cap size is great for ex: extra long, full hair, big curly hair.
