Beautiful place! Great location! The price & food, in question!
It was a celebration for my fren’s birthday! She chose to go to STK Steakhouse in Atlanta. She was looking for a grown and sexy vibe to celebrate with all her girls! Let’s just say STK Steakhouse gave the right vibes for sure!
It was a Friday, rainy night and the drive there was somewhat dreadful for me, especially coming straight from work over an hour away! But when I finally parked and got inside, I was like OKAY! When you first enter the building there is an oversized flower arrangement of STK! You know the girls love a restaurant with the flowers popping! This place was a grown and sexy vibe with a DJ and nice ambiance!
The table settings were a bit to close to me, but we survived as it was not crowded at all for it to be a Friday night. While we awaited on everyone to arrive we had drinks, appetizers, and conversation. Then it was finally time to place our food orders!
Now, if you are like me, when you are invited to any restaurant you are looking up the menu ahead of time! This time was no different! I had two choices in mind, but what got me was there wasn’t any prices listed on the online menu (I should have known then). Anywho, we received the menus and for what I wanted to order was $68! Nothing on the menu, main course wise was less than about $50.
Coming in straight from work and no time to stop to grab anything to coat my hungry stomach, I had to suck it up and order what I thought was high ass food! So I went with the Mahi Mahi and steak fries. When the food came out I was so disappointed in the portion size of my $68 meal and when I finally tasted my food I was highly disappointed in the bland, dry taste!
For me, what I spent there I could have had way better food elsewhere, with leftovers to go home with. I even could have bought a good bit of groceries too!
Let it be known, I wasn’t the only lady at the table not completely satisfied with the price, portion, and taste of my meal! But, at the end of the day, it was for my girl and we all had a great night out to celebrate life!
Cheers
