This is a story of a special girl, my daughter, who hair had to be cut about 4” due to breakage. What was puzzling for me being a healthy hair stylist and giving my daughters hair the best care, is why we were having so many hair setbacks. I found myself needing to trim her hair very often!
If she went to be with a bonnet on it was never there when she woke up! With her bonnet missing her natural curls would eventually get dry from her hair rubbing on her cotton sheets all night!!! One day it hit me…after too many days of waking up with a missing bonnet her hair begin to feel dry. And I knew I had to do something about it. 𝘖𝘝𝘌𝘙 𝘐𝘛... I said we got to do something about this and them beauty supply bonnets ain’t cutting it!!!
And for my baby her hair need night protection to keep it from drying out especially when I let her wear it naturally!!! Dry hair equals 𝘉𝘙𝘌𝘈𝘒𝘈𝘎𝘌 and eventually I had to rid about 3-4” (Feb 2019) of hair because her ends were splitting like crazy!!!
September 2019 is when 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧 came to the rescue!!! Because they stay on all night...I’ve watched my daughter hair maintain it’s length as I know it should because it’s not drying out at night!!! No longer do I have to fight with her bonnet on her head because it stays once it’s on!!!
